Payment

Full payment is needed to confirm online orders and a non-refundable 50% deposit is needed to confirm custom orders. Wedding cakes require €100.00 non-refundable deposit and the balance 1 month before the wedding. Until payment is received your order cannot be guaranteed. Final payment of custom orders is due 3 days before the delivery day. We reserve the right to cancel any order still awaiting payment the day before the delivery date.

Returns and refunds

All our products are baked fresh to order and we do not accept returns or refunds. Should your postal box be damaged on arrival or if you are in any way unsatisfied with the condition or quality of the product you have received please send us an email within 24 hrs with the photos of the damaged items and we will resolve the issue. Tay's Cake Studio will not accept liability for any complaints made after this time.

Cancellation

Postal boxes : I gladly accept cancellations if you request a cancellation within: 1 hour of purchase.

Custom orders : If you need to change the details or cancel your order please contact us at least (minimum) 10 days before the delivery/collection date, additional charges may apply on changes. Deposits are non-refundable, although refunds may still be processed at the discretion of Tay's Cake Studio.

Collection and deliveries

Brownie boxes are currently only available for collection or local delivery

Deliveries of postal boxes are send via GLS Couriers on Mondays which can be tracked right to your door, once they have been sent a tracking number will be emailed to you. Delivery will take 1-2 days.

Custom cakes and cupcakes can either be collected or delivered (within 10km of Youghal - no additional charge / outside of 10km of Youghal - delivery fees may apply) and the collection or delivery time will be decided a week before the date of the event.

Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address on the day of delivery; if nobody is available to receive the products we will do our best to leave them in a safe place but we cannot re-deliver the items later or on a different day. Please note that

Tay's Cake Studio cannot accept any liability for the treatment of your order or mishandling once a delivery / collection has been made and has left the care of Tay's Cake Studio and the package/s signed for.

Images

Tay's Cake Studio reserves the right to use photographs of the orders on our website and social media pages. They will only be added after the delivery / event has been completed.
